really high fuel pressure?
I have an 88 iroc with 24lb injectors, crane AFPR, and not sure about fuel pump. SHOULD be stock. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and cant get any adjustment whether the screw is all the way in or out. I also get my one and only reading of 66lb with the engine off. Everyone says to adjust with engine running bu the needle jumps sparatically between 65-70 lbs. With just the ignition on i get 66 lbs. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! Joe.

Re: really high fuel pressure?
They are right, you need to adjust fuel pressure while running. Are you sure your gauge is reading right? Either the gauge isn't reading right or the AFPR is not working correctly. 65-70 PSI isn't a bad thing, but stock pressure is about 44 lbs if memory serves, so that much pressure will surely make the engine run rich. Remember to test with the vaccum line removed from the AFPR and plugged.

I know this post is really old, but did you ever get your car fixed? My buddy is having the exact same problem. Even went back to the stock hat and its 62psi
