My roc don't roll

I bought my 1987 iroc in june, of 86 it has 55k on it know. its all stock, no add on's at all. I'm having trouble with it running. the right side ( pass side) injectors are not firing all the time. i'll be on the freeway and the car is running like the day i bought it.. then it starts spitting and miss firing with black smoke out the back, if i swerve back and forth like a nascar before a restart it will some time's clear up and i can continue on my way. ive noticed the fuel pump sounds loud. ive changed the fuel filter, and checked for water in the system, that all looks fine. someone said it may be the computer, but others have told me that would cause it to shut off all the fuel injection not just one side.. im lost someone PLEASE help me..

Re: My roc don't roll

If it comes back to life when you swerve I would start looking for bad wires/connections. Also kinda agree with above^^^check oil....or better yet how many quarts did you put in it in the event the dip stick is messed up.
