87 5.0 TPI idle high

Does anyone know why the idle will stick more on a high idle when the temp outside is colder,verses when it's warmer?? It doesn't much when it's warmer..But still idles like **** till motor is warmed up near temp. Temp sensor??? Thanks

An intake vacuum leak that seals when the heat makes the metals expand? A bad IAC motor?

Your question is kind of misleading. Sounds like youre asking whys the idle stay fast longer on cold days than on warm days. Thats simple.....it was designed that way. Now if you think you may have a problem....it could be a few different things. Coolnat temp sensor, depending on the year it could be a crappy cold start valve, or on later models the cold start fuel enrichment protocol could be jacked.
