Axle/Gears: 3.55 and 3.42 posi
performance timing

what would be the best timing to set my mild tpi 350(stock heads with a slightly bigger cam) at for best power using 91 octane fuel

i dont really know but ive always timed my cars the old fasioned way. leave your distributed loose enough to where u can turn it but to where it wont move from driving the car. then you keep advancing it until it pings. when it pings retard the timing a hair and play around at that spot then tighting it.
