Hey guys! excuse my english, I am a french canadian so! lol! have any of you heard of or have modified the plastic air duct mid-piece, that is between the filters and the mass airflow. I read that it flows only 500 cfm. I have a blue 87 iroc with a crate 350,300, short headers, 3" exhaust, high flow dinomax and KN filters. It puts out around 340 bhp and 400 torque, of course I want to make it breath more so I instaled the ram air kit from Hawks third gen to Help. at http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...mairboxes.aspx It really works! I could feel it the more I accelerated. But I know the engine is limited going through the plastic air duct.

 

The only thing I have seen was this mod /www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tpi/435350-high-flow-tpi-camaro.html you could try to do it yourself or possibly get the guy who started the thread to make one, he has made them for a few other people. By the way your English is better than the majority of people that use the internet lol.
