1985 Camaro Z28 TPI running rich
I Found a Z28 and bought it for real cheap. i have receipts for a engine and transmission rebuild in 2002.
work i have done:
fuel filter
alternator
battery
full tune-up
new ECM
problems:
it runs rich so bad that i could choke myself without having the garage door down.
it also has been hard to start sometimes if the cars sits for a while but if i start the car and then shut it off and then start it within the next 10 min or so it will start right up... i put some fuel injector cleaner in my tank and now it seems to be fine now but its been to early to tell.
I pulled my plugs and found them to have oil on them. and the look old even though there only six months old with little driving distance.
my oil pressure dash indicator has always went all the way up. i figured there's something just wrong with the sensor.
if anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

It wouldnt hurt to change the o2 sensor. That can cause a fat condition.

fuel pressure regulator, check for fuel in the vacuum lines (usually strong smell of fuel) typical fuel pressure regulator symptoms, Hard cold starts, easy warm starts, running pig rich. only other culprit i can think of is leaky injectors, thankfully if you do the FPR you can check for that at the same time
