Engine: 5.7 L TPI

Transmission: TH700-r4

FUEL PUMP PRESSURE HELPPPP

Hey, testing out the pressure on my fuel pumps. I dont know what the psi values are supposed to be for the mechanical and electronic pumps. My pump is reading about 12 psi but in my book it says 3 psi... Please help!
The car is an 87 350 TPI camaro

If its a tpi, the pressure should be 40- 45 lbs with the vacuum line off of the regulator.
