Would the comp 269-12 be to big for a 305tpi

Im never going to decide what combo for my motor..,,, As some of you have read Im beefing up the 305, my 601 heads need to much work and since I have a set of rebuilt 113s ready for .540 lift Imusing those. So heres the setup so far...edelbrock hiflo intake, flow matched 19lb injectors,1.6 gmpp full RR,msd ignition, headman 1 5/8" shorties, Ive got a comp 258hr-12 and just bought a brand new lt1-269hr-12. Since the 269 is brand new I would perfer to use it but I know bigger isnt always better. Finally my Q,,, is 218/224 to much duration for my 305
