Vacuum Leak? High Idle weird sound
Okay, I am still trying to get the cobwebs out of this car that sat for the better part of 5 years. All was fine, but once in a while I noticed a sound kind of like a turbo "whoosh" sound when I would hit the brakes.
Today I noticed the sound every time I hit the brakes, and as suddenly the car has began to idle high, around 2200 RPM's. If I turn the AC on it drops down a bit to around 1500 RPM's, still high, but it changes nonetheless.
It is a 5.0 TPI 91. The primary fan isn't coming on as it should, only with the AC. I just had the thermostat changed while getting the injectors done. I am only stating this in case it is relevant. FWIW, the brakes feel and seem fine.
