Trouble finding reasonably proced Oil Pssr. Send Unit
I need an oil pressure sending unit. I purchased one from Classic Industries which, after installed spewed out 2 quarts of oil in 10 seconds. Upon close inspection the workmanship of the unit was pure crap. (Classic Industries were professional enough to refund my money). So then I ordered one from NAPA. It arrived as an AC Delco part. Unfortunately it was too short and did not fit correctly. My last choice was the a GM dealership which wants $82. After doing some searches here on the forum I saw prices ranging from $17 to $30 but never $82. Where can I find a reasonably priced sending unit? Thank you.

Use the NAPA one. Hit their fitting drawers if you need to extend it to fit past the manifold.

The 89 sending units are down by the oil filter. Checker or Autozone should have the right one. If not, they can help match one up to what you need.
