dreaded code 33

ugh. the iroc is acting funny again. turns out its got a code 33 and a code 36. i have yet to check the burnoff relay since its to dark out. and after seeing countless threads on the 33, im getting kinda nervous. recently i had a code 15, and i replaced the coolant temp sensor, and its all good now. but today while out on a little trip the car died on me in traffic. (also today was around high 80's low 90's temperature) and its usually around 60 to 70 around here. i dont know if that had anything to do with it. but anyways. i turn on the car, and it idled way high, then seemed to calm down, and idles kinda good, nice and smooth and low(usually doesnt do that) but it still occasionally wants to turn off. so while i pulled to the side of the road, i set my hand on the maf sensor and the idle got better, higher and more smooth. then i left off and it went to kinda low and boggy, then i started playing with the wires leading to the MAF and when i pulled on them the idle got better, and when i let go it would get low again. i disconnected the MAF but it didnt seem to do anything. so it behaved itself for the rest of the day except for the fact that the rpms would take a dive occasionally.

so when i got home i checked the codes, checked the wires. i got code 33 and 36, also the wires leading to the MAF look kinda bent but other than that look fine. also alot of wires seemed to be taped up with electrical tape.

so now my question to you is. where should i start tommorow on solving this code? i plan to borrow my teachers Snap-on scanner. so i will be able to see what all the sensors are doing. also i read i should give a good shake to the burnoff relay and if it makes noise i need to replace it. but i also heard theres a MAF power relay, which ones which?

thanks

You have 2 things going on here. Some kind of electrical discrepacy causing the code to throw, and secondly you have a sort of Physic healing ability, that when you touch it, it runs better, has to do with your ability to phsycialy temporarly correct the electrical problem.

turn signals went out at the same time this code showed up. turned out it the turn signal fuse blew out. a new one corrected the problem. no more codes
