High Flo Tpi Questions

How well do you think a high flow tpi set up would work on my 305 (modifications in sig)? Would it be too much for the 305? And I have been looking and comparing intakes and runners. Is the TPIS set-up really that much better than the Edelbrock Hi Flo set-up?

Re: High Flo Tpi Questions

hey,

i have quite a few things done to my tpi... Not sure about my numbers comparing old to new but i did feel a great difference espeially up top.. i got ASM runners, ported plenum, accel manifold, egr delete, TB air splitter, CSI removed, etc.

Check my sig for my 305 mods... I don't know my cam cuz the guy that sold me the car put in a "GM" cam and he wasn't sure of the specs but it runs great so far on a stock tune! (could be better though for sure with all of the mods that's been done!)

Also I would get parts the make beter low end power (larger tubes such as ASM), rather than high revving power (siamesed SLP runers) because that is my preference... TPI doesn't really make power in the high end anyway unless you figure out how to make it do that which some people have but it's tons of work...

Choose your preference... Hope this helps!

Later,
-Marc
