when i go to turn my car over it starts up for about 1 second and thne dies then ill try and start it again and it does the same thing and still doesnt start. I believe my injectors are not firing when i go to turn the car over getting a noid light today so ill update if they do or are not.Cause the car will fire when starting fluid is added. What would be the cause if this.

Two things that i reason did: My egr is not connected cause the connection broke off i found out and i replaced my oil pressure switch.

alright thanks and i wasnt able to pick up a noid light today but i am 90% sure they are not firing there just turning on for that prime.

 

The prime doesn't pulse/fire, or turn on the injectors.
The injectors don't spray fuel until the ECM gets a reference signal pulse from the Ignition Control module which won't happen until the engine is cranking.

 

only the cold start injector is probably working

 

Did you get the noid light? It will cut the trouble shooting down to injectors only if they are firing. Got mine cranked today after using noid light it showed fire so I cleaned the injectors myself and it cranked right up.Also made sure I had 43lbs of fuel to rail before I pulled injectors.
