GM847 cam with L98 heads?

Can the L98 heads take this cam with better springs and 1.6 rockers? GM847 cam: 234/242 dur at .050 .539/.558 lift 112 lsa. Obviously, this is an RPM cam, so converting to an LT1 intake or miniram is the plan. And then could the L98 support 6300rpm shift points?

This was going to be my cam of choice for my old LT1 car. I know it works, many time slips and dynos on peoples car with untouched LT1 heads, 1.6 rockers and better springs of course.

Okay, I keep reading that Lt1 heads aren't really that much better than L98 heads, is that true? Other than the fact they are aluminum and reverse flow, they don't flow much more. Again, that's what I heard. I've done a search and haven't found concrete info.

Re: GM847 cam with L98 heads?

LPE got some good numbers from porting the 113 heads but most reports say stock they don't flow well past .500 lift (210cfm ? ) The low lift numbers and velocity are supposed to be better than some aftermarket heads due to the narrow runners
