What are YOUR thoughts about the ZZ4 Cam??

I am preparing to install my new ZZ4 cam and a fresh set 0f 113 aluminum heads with LT4 springs in/on my 1989 355 TPI. I will be running the stock tune and was curious as to anyones thoughts, pros, or cons of running this camshaft.

Many will say there are better cams out there but as a bang for $$$ cam it worked great for me .$100 eBay new crate engine take out
Muscle car idle sound , great street manners, excellent response and power. It is the cam GM speced for the ZZ4 which has the 113 heads.
You are not going to make the all out power (355Hp ) of the ZZ4 (because of the TPI upper end restriction) but you will make more torque. Had to go to ET streets because of better bottom end (w/3.07's)
I ran mine with stock '89 Vette 350 tune (ARAP ) and it ran fine; only after datalogging did I find I had a little WOT spark retard going through 3K because the ARAP chip has a very aggressive spark advance.
Cam does like intake mods though

What kind of HP increase will I be looking @ with this setup? I considered running the Vette tune, but am already going to be disabling the EGR so had my reservations and decided I am going to stick with the Camaro tune to keep combustion temps down a bit. I am already running a 180 degree thermostat so maybe I could get away with the Vette tune. Time will tell, it is a neverending project.

As noted the intake is going to restrict the revs so you are not going to see the ZZ4 carb Hp
I had SLP big tubes , home siamised base ( well recommended) and home ported plenum with long tubes on 100K , heads never been off L98 (113 heads ).
From ET v weight calc mine was about 315Hp Engine pulled strong from off idle but best times still shifting @4800 .Would rev higher but times dropped.
13.0X all day in 3300lb Vette . 1.8X 60's on MT ET Streets
