Upgrading from TBI?
Upgrading from TBI?
I have the opportunity to buy a complete 305 TPI system (computer, harness, intake, runners, distributor, and coil) this is from a 1990-1992 year. Will all of this swap into my 1988 Firebird no problem? Also, will I see a significant boost in power from my 305 TBI? Or does the TPI engine have better heads/cam/etc. too? Also will I need to get a tune, because the computer is from a 305 it should be fine right?

I am also wanting to do this swap only that the guy will even sell me the chip for tuned but not sure to get it
