tearing down 88 iroc for a paint job now it wont' start. the fuel pumps not kickin on. all the fuses are good(double checked) and there is NO continueous power to the fuel pump relay. i jumped the pump at the back of the car and it works fine, is this a computer related issue?..i also tried the jumping at the aldl port..that didnt work at all any ideas?

 

You mean there is no 12V supply to the relay on the heavy org ? If no power, most likely have blown the fusible link on the supply side

The relay , oil pressure switch and ALDL terminal all put power through the fuse to the pump .You may have a broken wire somewhere.
I would check for continuity from the fuse terminal to the

ALDL terminal
relay terminal
and to the pump

 

yeah there is no power to the orange wire at the relay. the inline fuse is not blown there is power there.
