MAF to MAP vacuum hose connection question?

I've been searching and can't seem to find a good picture or diagram of where the vacuum hose should connect to the plenum. I've converted from a MAF system to a MAP system and need to run vacuum hose to the MAP sensor from the plenum. Do I need to tap a hole and install a fitting or use a T of some sort? A picture would be great but any information that may help would be good too.

Re: MAF to MAP vacuum hose connection question?

there are 2 vac ports on the pass side of the plenum one for the pressure regulator and the larger one is for the hvac. I would cut a t into the hvac line as close to the plenum as possible.

I know exactly which port you're talking about and I will T it somehow. What I don't know is what hvac means? Thanks for your help.

hvac = heating ventilation air conditioning, that port supplies vaccuum to the heater controls

I don't think my Jeep has the hvac needed like in the GM cars? I could just connect the MAP vac to it and forget about it? Thanks again.

Re: MAF to MAP vacuum hose connection question?

Glad you found a solution. On the same note if anyone can please tell me how to convert my MAF to MAP on my vehicle i would appreciate it. I just purchased a FAST XFI ECU. Fortunately it came with the MAP sensor in the kit. All i need to do install it somehow...I own a 1987 IROC TPI (Supercharged 350)
