Intake thread size. WHICH TAP IS THE RIGHT ONE?
So I want to chase the threads on my intake. I have mastercraft's 41 piece std tap and dye set. I was checking with one would work in them and I came to the conclusion that a 5/16"-18 NC works.
Am I right?

5/16 is approximately the same diameter as 8mm, but if you fully tap the 8mm holes in your intake with a 5/16 tap, chances are neither bolt is going to hold ever again.
Madmax hit the nail on the head, they're 8mm 1.25.
