Look what I found guyz. http://ncarboni.home.att.net/NCtpi.html
Is there a throttlebody that we can use on our TPI systems. We are familiar with the 58mm throttlebody, but is there one that has 1 blade, and that can fit in or 3rd Gens? If so, Were can I find one?

Yes there are mono-blade throttle bodies. But you need a BIG engine before you ever need one. Otherwise, your just wasting your money.

Here are electronic (drive by wire) TPI throttle bodies in 52m, 58mm, and Mono Blade. To use any of these throttle bodies, you must run an LS1 PCM, LS1 throttle control module, and mount an electronic pedal...in other words, not a quick bolt on.

If you're looking for a cable actuated monoblade throttle body, contact TPIS (http://www.tpis.com). They will advise you not to use one unless you are working with a 400+ ci engine.

So then I'm better off just getting a 58 mm Hooley throttlebody then. I was just curious because Im planning to fabricate a ram air type intake by using the fog light ports in the grill area. I want to make my IROC breath better.

Your better off with a stock TB until you build an engine that needs a bigger one. 58mm on a stock, or even mostly stock, TPI....Is just wasting your money.
