piston to valve clearance

Hello guys, im in need of cam advice. im planning on getting a cast iron set of assembled heads from summit. the specs are 64cc chamber, 200cc intake, 2.02 intake valve and 1.60 exhaust. the max lift for the springs on it are .560. im looking to get into the high 300's or low 400's RWH with the stock bottom end and a HSR setup... i know i know but i plan on building a 383 shortblock on the side for later on down the road.. why not do it now? long story. lol. i guess my question is how much lift can i get without having piston to valve clearance problems on a stock l98 bottom end with those heads.

Re: piston to valve clearance

Spring and retainer-to-valveguide clearance is usually a problem long before piston-to-valve is with stock pistons.
