hi
my 305 tpi in my 85 t/a is running poorly, i replaced the ignition module twice, and esc module but now its just as bad if not worse. its running really rough the whole car shakes my rearview mirror actually fell off of the window, the exhaust is smoking grayish blue and smells not unlike oil. i know my head gasket leaks and my thermostat is bad(unrelated).
i will appreciate any help
btw power is seriously depleated in gear, i barely got it home backfiring and sputtering the whole way

 

have you had the battery off???

 

i disconnected the negative battery cable when i replaced the ignition module
p.s. i found the plug wires were in the wrong order, i corrected that but it still runs rough and dies at idle in gear and its still smoking

 

i would say (no 100% but) the computer has lost your driving style if you drive her about 80mph for about 10 minutes she should sort her self out.
