Im new to this site. You guys seem very helpful. Ive searched the message board for answers, but nothing. I got an 87 305 tpi 70k on it. It runs good ,but its doing things i know are not normal. check engine light is on .I dont know how to get the codes.here is the symptoms. #1 runs rich #2 right side fan runs all the time. #3 fuel pump does not turn off after a few second of turning the key to the on position.i think once it gets pressured up it should shut off till it gets distributor pulses. it just runs and after several seconds i hear a strange noise coming from the fuel rail area. fuel pressure is 40 psi.

 

Also the smog pump is disconnected. Cat is gone. If this helps any.
