Will stock Airfilter system work with Throttlebody upgrade?

My car looks completely stock under the hood and I want to upgrade my throttlebody to a 58mm one. Will the stock rubber bellows tube connecting my airfilter system to the throttlebody still work?

I'm looking to go with this throttlebody : http://tpiparts.net/inc/sdetail/8042

Thanks for any information you can provide.

why do you want to upgrade to a 58mm throttle body? You will probably gain nothing from it. Its only needed if your making close to 500 hp or more. I myself run a 52 mm and is plenty for my application. If I were you, I would keep the 48mm on and spend my money elsewhere. Like a nice set of headers. They are one of the best bang for the buck on our cars.

Thank you for the input. I guess a little background info would have helped. Car has Fastburn 385 350ci (hotcam/1.6 rocker) motor with headers (the headers being the only thing that doesn't look stock under the hood.) Fastburn heads have Scoggin Dickie high flow baseplate. I'm working backwards from the engine as my $$ provide for upgrades. Currently have amassed ported-internally polished plenum and TPIS large tube runners. I'm looking for highest flowing- stock looking- throttlebody that will accomodate the stock rubber bellows. I'll be finishing it up with 24# injectors and a tune.

It really leaves those SRT-4 boys scratching there heads when I open the hood and tell'em it's an L98 with headers

Thanks again for any info.

So, does any one have a 52 or 54 mm set up with a stock bellows connecting the air filters?
