So the stock air boot does not fit over the 52mm throttle body from BBK. Just wondering where those of you that are running one were able to source a boot, or reducer, or some type of connector. I plan on running a custom setup eventually, but for now I still need to keep it looking semi factory to get it past the emissions inspection. I was thinking about getting a black metal elbow like the one trick flow makes. Thoughts?!?! Thanks guys

If I recall correctly, years ago I ran the Camaro boot off of a 52mm BBK throttle body. It required stretching, but it fit. Might want to try a heat gun to warm the boot.

The aluminum LT1 elbow will cause clearance issues with the front accessories.

I run the stock boot with a BBK 52mm TB; just lube the lip of the boot and / or throttle body with grease ( I use "Krytox," from a swimming pool supply store, it's great for lubing and protecting just about any rubber or synthetic o-ring) or spit, and work the boot back and forth or around and around onto the lip of the throttle body.

Old boots do not have the flex to fit over the lip on the BBK that the stock TB doesn't have.
Worst case file the lip off ; the boot is retained by the clamp anyway as per stock

I have a 58mm BBK with a custom built airbox, but the connection inbetween is a silicon boot. Got it at a fluid connector store locally. I'll get some pics in a bit tonight for you, the boot cost 25 bucks, and fits perfectly. It was 4 inch in diameter I believe.

Rubber is a non-newtonian material. It'll stretch when cooled and shrink when heated. Heating it before trying to stretch it on won't work. An old engineer showed me this once while trying to fit rubber hoses on a compressor. Just toss the part in the fridge before you want to put it on.
