Low MAP Voltage (code 33)

I have a '90 Corvette speed density TPI system in an older car. It has run almost perfect until very recently when I began getting a code 33. My information says this is "low voltage at the MAP sensor". When the trouble light comes on with this code, the car will run rough near idle for a few seconds but with any following acceleration the light goes off and the car seems to accelerate OK. This may not happen again for a few minutes (mostly in town traffic) but seems to come and go. I have changed the MAP sensor, the vacuum tube between the MAP sensor and the plenum along with trying a second computer. None of these changes appear to make any difference. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Re: Low MAP Voltage (code 33)

Did you ever figure this out? I've had the same problem. Replaced MAP sensor and connector. Did not fix it, though.

Re: Low MAP Voltage (code 33)

I have had my share of code 33/34 problems (maf not map), mine ended up being the pigtail connecting to the maf, maybe give that a try.
