there is a trio of very small hoses running around and under the intake, on the passenger side and front. they all three connect in a splitter, and one runs underneath the throttle body, over to the drivers side. these hoses are really hard and brittle, and i snapped that one. now my car won't start. it's sat for quite a while but has always turned over for me (every month or two) after breaking this, i wasnt able to get it to start, but i didnt try that day before breaking it.

i looked through my service manual, and believe i found the hose i broke on page 6e3-c7-4, figure c7-8, identified as #6, egr diag temp switch. where do i find a replacement?

 

You can pick up those hard plastic vacuum lines at any auto parts store. Its easiest just to bring in a broken piece of the old line to the store and then match it up with what you need.
