cylinder heads for l98 tuned port

Ive been looking for some cylinder heads for my tuned port 350 that are noticeably better than stock l98 heads. Im looking for heads that will give me around 300hp. My plans are to swap heads and port my intake. I NEED heads that are 50 state legal and have the egr opening.

Any suggestions? i thought about vortecs but that would be too expensive for the manifold and heads for the power it gives. I thought about some afr 195cc heads but they seem pretty expensive! I also checked out some Edelbrock performers (not rpm) and they didnt flow very good from what i noticed.

Any suggestions? Anybody have some results with the heads they used?

Re: cylinder heads for l98 tuned port

AFR Heads are 50 state legal and are some of the nicest heads you can buy, without having them custom made to your application. A set of 180's and a mild cam with get you 300 hp, 195's will help you breathe but you'll need to mod your intake accordingly. Trickflow also makes nice stuff, but I have AFR 180's so I am bias
