My Firebird CAI
The filter that came with the car was really old and seemed as if the engine wasn't getting enough air. Since there arn't any aftermarket CAI for our cars, I built my own.
To get the filter down to the fog light, I cut a hole in the bracket holding the smog canister. Then I had to cut a hole in a piece of metal below the bracket. I decided to remove the fog light mounting bracket for more air flow(this was a pain in the @$$).
I used 1 90 elbow and about 6-8 inches of straight PVC.
Heres what I ended up with

looks cheap, and poorly made...id suggest starting over with something a bit more professional and functional.
