Call comp cams, tell them what you have, what you want, and what you're going to do. They tell you which camshaft works best.

Re: l98 camshaft
If its stock like you say it is, the camshaft is no where near the first mod you should do. Its such a pain in the butt to remove all the stock stuff. Then why put them all back on when you can upgrade while you have them off?
Start with subframe connectors to stiffen up the chassis. Then go with a 3" catback exhaust like from Magnaflow.
As far as camshafts go, the stock heads limit the size of camshaft you can use, and you'll need to upgrade the worn out 20+ year old valve springs, too. You're better off saving for new heads, intake manifold and runners, and changing all that at once. Then you can install a better cam while you're in there.

Re: l98 camshaft
Speaking from experience, I couldn't agree with Kevin more. I have a ZZ4 cam in a basically stock L98. Well, heads and intake are stock. Anyhow, while I did feel a difference, All the other mods like suspension, and transmission (2400 stall, then T5) were certainly better as far as fun factor and seat of the pants feel. ....and while I like the idle and driveability of the ZZ4 cam, if I had to do it again, I'd go a smidge bigger, and go with some aftermarket heads too. Just too much work for "only" a cam upgrade.
