Somewhere there is a very loud ticking coming from my fuel system. I think it is my regulator. My pressure is 39 psi and doesn't stutter in sync with the ticking. Can anyone confirm what this is? Will post a video in a second once it uploads to YouTube.

 

have you done any mods to the system?

after market fuel injectors can be known for being loud tickers,could be valvetrain noise aswell depending on your setup.

are you sure the noise is coming from the fuel system?

 

You can feel the pulsing in the regulator that is in sync with ticking. I just bought the car so I don't know if it was modded. The injectors are all plastic. My cousin thought the original ones were in metal casings.

damn lol i just was driving last night and stopped for a light and noticed my car was doing that exact same noise.. once i was in gear and drove and stopped again the noise went away.... i dont know what it could be either, thought it was just normal injector click... but it was louder than normal
