TPI air cleaner question

TPI air cleaner question
Hey everyone. This is my first post, but have been following this forum for awhile. I have a 1987 IROC w/ a 305 TPI. The air cleaner was replaced in 1990. I'm trying to see if it's the one that should be on there. These are the two I have seen, and I am wondering which one I should use and what hooks up to the pipe or outlet on the end of the one on the left. Thanks,

Welcome to TGO. IIRC, the one on the right is the V8 model.
