How " returnless " is it ?
Are you putting a regulator by the tank and dead heading to the fuel rails?

So instead you're going to have it sitting still inside the lines in the engine compartment for logner?

Re: return to returnless fuel system conversion
not really and the thing i am trying to stop is not the heated fuel in the lines in the engine compartment but the superheated fuel in the tank

Re: return to returnless fuel system conversion
I've always been under the assumption that a return style fuel system is cooler due to the fuel always moving around and not sitting still. Do you have the heat shield between your muffler and fuel tank? What do you mean by superheated? Have you measured the temperature?

yes the heat shield is there. and like i said nothing has changed since before the car sat for three years, and it did not have a problem before it sat. by superheated i just mean a hell of alot hotter than it should be, hot enough to cause the engine to stall and fuel pump to groan
