New guy needing help
I am in the process of buying a set of heads for my engine. The mods that I have so far are listed below. The problem that I have is that there are no receipts for this stuff and I just bought the car. I can visually see an edelbrock base, slp runners, as well as bbk 52mm throttle body. I can see blue rings around the injectors and can hear the cam lope. Otherwise, I am shooting in the dark aside from the Borla exhaust. I was looking at getting the ProFiler heads and a decent cam with some hedman headers. The problem is that I am in an 86 Corvette so I am intake limited unless I want to spend massive money and change distributors. I have major clearance issues with the intake and was wondering if I have my runners and plenum "mega ported" will it support the heads/cam? Also, what kind of cam do you recommend? I have the 3.07 gear and a shift kit in the transmission. The cylinders carry 125lbs on the cylinders, so I am not sure about the 10:1 compression being right.
