Hey, just got an '85 TA with 5.0 TPI. Runs well except - stumbles at idle (but does not stall), smells like it's running rich (strong gas smell) and seems to struggle when going uphill at freeway speeds (downhill and at grade it runs like a monster). It had a upper and lower motor rebuild about 22K miles ago, but I don't think anything fuel delivery related was dealt with. I'm not a DIY type so will be relying on my mechanic - but I want to have an idea what might be up (I'm guessing...injector(s), computer, fuel filter, pump...etc. God I hope not the pump. Maybe just a good tune up will do it).

Can I just say this thing is automotive prozac, and I plan to do a modest resto as it's in pretty good shape--needs paint and some rust issues dealt with, couple interior things, but I think it'll be money well spent just for the fun of driving it and keeping another one on the road.

Any ideas will be really appreciated. Cheers!
