Confused on TPI TPS voltage reading...
Here is my delima. My book (Chilton's) says to measure between B and C (middle and bottom) wires. My other book (Haynes) says to measure between A and B. Using B and C, I get over 4 volts (middle and bottom). If I measure A and B (top and middle), then I get the correct voltage I am looking for at about 0.58 volts. I am also able to adjust it properly.
I have checked all over the net on reading the TPS voltage. Everyone seems to agree on 0.54 at idle. The problem I am having is WHERE to take the voltage from. Some people say take it from the top and middle wire. Other people say take it from the middle and bottom wire. Which book should I believe? Car is running and TPS seems to be working properly.

You should measure it from the top and bottom wires (A & B). It should be set at .54 - .60 volts.
