TPI swap on 4.7 dodge

Well I posted something simlar at dodge fourms and waiting an answer but I figure i'll ask here to.

Im highly curious if anyone knows if an lightly modded tuned port intake would swap fairly easily + an tune to an 4.7 magnum/powertech engine?

Say it will, would I need any other things to make the intake work properly on the engine?

I belive i'll be able to get an whole tpi setup for fairly cheap but what would the tune set me back?

I know it sounds stupid, but i should help us if we ever plan on towing, and the durango's already got decent torque, I just need the torque an bit lower in the rpm's and we would like an bit more of an slap in the face of pure torque

Thanks.

If you ever plan on towing... get a tow vehicle.

Yeah, my pickup (1/2 ton) is rated at like 11,000lbs, but towing 11,000# at only 10 mph SUCKS... Its really the suspension more than anything that can't take the load safely or comfortably. Ratings aren't for the real world.

Re: TPI swap on 4.7 dodge

THE MAIN PURPOSE IS NOT TO BE ABLE TO TOW MORE #'S!

We dont want an difrent truck, all im asking is if the mentioned intake can be put on the mentioned engine!

Re: TPI swap on 4.7 dodge

see my post above......

you're talking about trying to put a chevy intake for a motor that was designed in the 50's onto a modern dodge motor

so unless you have the money/resources to have a base cast, no there is no possible way to do what you want to do
