I was wonderin if a 350 knock sensor on a 92 camaro 305TPI will that mess wit the timing and throw it off....i was told the car had a 350 and had to change the knock sensor cause it went bad then later on found out the car had a 305 instead...i left the 350 knock sensor in cause I cant get the other out...just wonderin if havin the wrong one in will mess wit the timin...thanxs for any help

It will be less sensitive.

so it's ok just to leave it on then.....

It'll run, but it may not be able to sense detonation and retard the timing.
