TPI timing

I have a L98 and this may be a stupid question but what keeps my fuel injectors in time with my engine and what would happen if they fell out of timing

Re: TPI timing

TPI does not time the injector pulse with the opening of the intake valve such as SFI does. In fact, all of the injectors on the right bank batch fire, same on the left. There are times when the injector pulses just as the intake valve closes.

If your question is about fuel timing, the answer is - there isn't any. The only variable is how long the injector is open vs. how long it's closed per pulse.
