Hey, I'm goin' to be pullin' my motor out this winter and need some info.
Here's what's going in:
355 ci, Hooker shorties, Large tube runners, ported plenum, 52mm TB, LT4Hot cam, Edelbrock Etec 170 Alum. Heads, Scoggins/Dickey Vortec Intake, 1.6 Roller Rockers, 5 speed, Alum. Driveshaft, 3.73 Posi, Hurst short throw shifter, 26 lb. Ford Injectors, Double roller timing chain. What kind of HP numbers do you think I'm Looking at. Any change suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

 

your engine bay is amazing that is exactly what I want mine to look like like for the most part, your attiontion to detail with all the lines and hoses is amazing you will have some pms in the near future . sorry i couldnt help you with your hp quistion

Very nice. As to horsepower I will guess maybe 300rwhp. I am assuming the parts were just bolted together with no porting.

 

also he is using 170 cc heads

 

maybe 300 hp..id look into doing more with tpi intake for easier hp gains, not sure about the specs of a lt4 cam but if your looking for quarter mile times you might see mid to low 13's judging on the shifting

whats compression ratio?

my set up is
-355 brodix 180 cc aluminum heads w/ comp cam extreme energy 280 .520 lift, hooker shorty long tubes, 3500 stall stock bottom end 10.5 compression, 750 double pump rpm air gap. estimated 390-400 rwhp and im about 12.50s. good luck

 

I also could go with a Holley Stealth Ram with 30# injectors and a 58mm TB and ZZ4 113 Alum Heads. Undecided right now. Is there going to be an issue w/ hood clearance. What kind of numbers do you think this will give me with all the other things listed above?
