Re: tpi mods
If you haven't already, the best bang for your buck is a good set of headers and a aftermarket exhaust. K-n air filter also. More air in, more air out. Stay away from bigger throttle bodies, your stock one will out flow a stock motor. Performance chips are a personal choice, most only preform at WOT. Nothing beats a good tune-up, plugs, wires, dist. cap, new fuel filter etc. Hope this all helps some, becareful not to waste money on go fast gimmicks. Just remember this, It COST money to make power.
Re: tpi mods
Thanks for the info. I was honestly thinking of a bigger throttle body and runners. I have msd all the way around right now with headers 3 inch exhaust and flowmaster. When you said a computer chip only works on wot what does that mean.

Re: tpi mods
Most aftermarket chips are generic, which means they don't program for any engine mods such as high flowing heads and cams, because they don't know what each individule has done, therefore they only program for minor changes such as a little more advance on timing and such for a stock motor at wide open throttle. As for a bigger TB and runners, If you haven't ported the plenum or intake manifold, and added more rocker ratio and a cam, with bigger injectors, with a custom tuned chip, your still restricted on air intake.
