Cleaning TPI Throttle Body... a few ?'s
I have a 91 Firebird... I read that the 90 & newer Vette's used a self calibrating / floating TPS... Did the Fbody cars too?
If I am just cleaning the throttle body, removing IAC and not adjusting idle, do I need to ground the ECM/disconnect IAC, etc? I'm assuming if I clean all the throttle body, and I have trouble idiling, then I would need to do the ECM stuff to calibrate the new idle speed...??
Thanks,
Rafael
