will it start...new motor build old tune

I have a new motor going into my camaro right now and im just wondering what everyones opinion on this is. I had a 305 tpi with AS@M runners, edelbrock base, edelbrock headers stock injectors with a TPIS adjustable regulator and a LT4 cam. It was custom tuned by TPIS before i got it and ran very well. Now i have a new motor going in that is:

355
XFI 268 flat tappet cam (510 intake 515 exhaust)
Dart aluminum heads 64 cc chambers 200 cc runners
Speed pro forged flat top pistons with valve reliefs
AS@M runners
Edelbrock base
Edelbrock headers
24# injectors

My question is will it actually start and run with the tune i have now. I kno that i will need to retune for all the mods that are done to it but i want to kno if i can get it to run well enough for me to break in the flat tappet cam thats in my 355. What is everyones opinion of this?

Well, it will probably start and probably run. However, I wouldn't break it in with that tune. Your whole A/F mix is different with the new engine. Hopefully some of the gurus will weigh in on this one. I would hate to see you have a malfunction. Sounds like a pretty nice set up. I'm not qualified to advise you but am curious about others opinions.

It should be fine. I assume you are still running a mass airflow meter system. If you have access to a real-time scanner, you can watch the O2 sensor values to be sure you aren't too lean.

Still running a MAF. I will also have a wideband installed before the first start so i can figure out how lean or rich it is.

Excellent. I also assume you have added a good break-in oil additive like G.M. EOS or Comp cams lube?

Going to run the comp cam lube and quaker state 30 which is what my machine shop recommended for breaking it in.
