Fuel Pressure Gauge Location

I want to install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my 1987 305 V-8, and everyone is saying to set pressure at a certain psi. But where should the gauge be installed in the gas line or rail? Pictures would be helpfull.

Anywhere on supply side ,doesn't matter
