ok so i got my car put back together about two weeks ago and at first i had a problem with a code 33 and got that all worked out now the car still wants to act funny every once in a while. sometimes as soon as i start it up or after it gets warm the car wants to stumble really bad and pop back through the intake and have a high idle. i cant get a code out of it and i dont know where to start

 

Start with the basics, fuel, air, spark. Check your sensors o2 & temp. Maybe the timing is off. I'm sure someone else will chime in with more knowledge then me. May need more info as to what you put back together? Sorry I was'nt more help. Good luck with it.

 

iv just went through the basics the timing is on im getting all cylinders firing and plenty of fuel pressure. so now when the ses light is on i turn the car off and jump the aldl to figure out the code and the light eigther stays on or stays off. and when the car is running and not throwing a code i do the same thing and all it brings up is the 12 code

 

Step by step how how did you set the timing?

 

with a timing light i unpluged the advance plug set it at 4 degrees advance and turned the car off and plugged it back in

 

but the problem is intermittin so i dont think it has to do anyhting with constant stuff like the timing fuel spark and stuff

 

anyone?

 

could the knock sensor be causing this
