Ok, I have 87 Iroc, original 5.7 Liter, TPI. The engine has LOTS of miles on it and I spun a main bearing, sooo I just bought a 350, bored 30 over, steel crank, forged rods, all the goodies. I plan on using my original heads, and TPI(after some carefull porting and polishing). I am also running full length headers, a B&M 700R4 w/ 2500 stall and a rebuilt rear diff. I need to know what kind of cam to use, nothing too radical, nice lope, and would prefer to not have to change injectors, any ideas???

 

Compucam 2032 or lt4 hotcam

 

I've always been a fan of the ZZ4 cam. Old technology, but a good cam. I wouldn't go any bigger.

 

Don't you have to upgrade springs ect. on the factory heads to use any one of those cams?

 

i thought the stock heads wont clear a lt4 hotcam kit? or is that only when using 1.6 roller rockers
