Alternator mounting ???

I put new heads and stealth intake on my car and had removed the smog pump a while back. Now that im mounting my alternator I do not know what to bolt the alternator to on the motor. Does anyone have pics of their alternators on the passenger side of the car with no smog pump?

Thank you I will really appreciate that. The car is so close to starting and this is the only main issue I have had.

Thanks! I going to try that today and see how it works. Do you know what size bolts are needed by any chance?

Re: Alternator mounting ???

you should only require the lower bolt and the upper bolt be sure you did not mix up the bolt from the smog pump and the alternator. but i have no smog pump either i removed it and i didn't have to change any of the mounting hardware for the alternator.

Re: Alternator mounting ???

u need the upper bracket? whats the issue is the mounting hole in the wrong place or different? if u just need a stock bracket u can find it at the bone yard if you need a different style bracket try the earlier model bracket i might be able to help you more if you post some pics
