Peanut camshaft FYI

Peanut camshaft FYI
Doing a cam swap in my 1991 Z28 305 TPI LB9, auto trans, without G92 package, tach-yellow at 4500, redline at 5000. I have read in a number of posts that the LB9 without the G92 package and with auto trans comes with the peanut cam. NOT TRUE!! Pulled the cam yesterday and guess what? It's not the peanut cam. Clearly has 773 stamped on it which means it's P/N 10111773 (.202/.207-.413/.428). So all of you who think that you have the peanut cam might not. Just an FYI.

Re: Peanut camshaft FYI
Others with 90-92 LB9 auto have said the same thing.
I don't think anyone has ever posted otherwise.
When they switched to speed density the HP ratings went up to 210 in 90 then 205 in 91&92
It seems the only difference between the auto and manual cars was the exhaust system.
Manual cars got the dual cats and auto cars got the 2 1/4 inch TBI exhaust system.

Correction:
Only manual cars with G92 had dual cats.
Otherwise they came with 3.08 gears and the TBI exhaust and also had 205HP
