Hey guys, i'm helping out my uncle with his 89' GTA he just bought. Car is in excellent shape with 67K on the clock but the PO had put in some old 350 2BBl carbed motor out of who knows what and hacked up the wiring.
I sold him my complete TPI setup off of my 87 T/A so we have that part figured out.

He's always wanted to mess around with a 400 SBC with a TPI in a 3rd gen. Since he is kinda stuck in the 80's with carbs I told him I would help him with the TPI.He's not really into racing, he just wants it to have some getup and go but retain streetability.

Here is basically what we're gonna do:

400 sbc .030 over, stock rods, crank and possibly pistons
Ported L98 aluminum heads
Ported TPI base and plenum
bigger runners
30# injectors
52MM TB
Flat tappet cam that will be similar to the GM Hot Cam
shorty headers
700R4 with a 2500+ stall
stock gears

If you guys can give me any suggestions for this setup that would be great! Any help is appreciated.
