edelbrock heads with a weiland intake on L98?

i have a 88 firebird gta. looking to give it some more power. did some research and im doing a total upgrade of the top end. im looking at edelbrock heads to put on (#350-60979) but im wondering if a weiand intake mani (#925-7540) will fit with it or if anyone know any other mani's that would.

Those are vortec heads I think it says in jegs, and that intake is not. Those heads arent that great unless you port them, and are rather small. Have you looked into other head mfn? profiler, trickflow, afr, dart, brodix?

First what are you goals for the car? Have you set down and thought about it? Search on there are alot of proven combos out now. The search will be your best option as not everyone responds in a timely manner and you can sort threw everyones advice and opinions and BS and make your own choice as well as learn.

If you want that much power, then check out the "Quest for a Better Flowing TPI" sticky thread at the top of this forum. At our most recent dyno day, my father's TPI engine put down 400 RWHP and 430 RWTQ. And you're going to need to upgrade that T5 with a T56 or other aftermarket manual transmission, as well. The T5 is too weak.
